My Endless Road

As the night sheds its wings

And darkness engulfs all

I close my eyes and take a voyage

Down that dusty endless road

Where someone awaits I think

I wonder if its just me

Or someone camouflaged

In the crystal of my shadows

A silent hope, wishing it to be you

Just a hope, just an imagination

Of the most desperate moments

Yet, the soul is comforted

By the illusion of my belief

Closed within my fairytale

Is my happy ending

I walk to reach that end,

Where at last we shall be one

Where light illuminates the dark

Before it engulfs me within its veil

I run, must run faster

I can see the light

Just a mirage or night playing hide & seek

Comfort zone, I breach none

Inch by inch I move to my goal

Each step mending a hole

A drop of tear rolls down the eyes

An invisible hand wipes them away

What is it, Magic I believe

For even where there is no one

I have you there, not as the sun

But just as my shadow in the night

With me on this endless road of mine

As my friend, as my guide.

PS: This is the first time, i have been away from here for such a long time. Maybe I was looking for my muse.  I finally got one. Its good to be back after a long time. I missed writing, I missed those words.
